Sonstraal Kindergarten

Just before I began this post I could absolutely remember the Afrikaans word for kindergarten . . . but nope, seems it’s gone out of my head! Earlier this week I popped through Durvanville side to do this shoot for Sonstraal. Looks easy, but hard, hard work I tell you making twenty kindergarten kids smile – though I have to admit that in that deparment I had loads of help from Sonstraal’s fabulous owner, Juanita.

Juanita is a big fan of relaxed photography and what a pleasure these pics are – I’d love to have pics like this of me when I was a kid.Even processing them now for this post made me smile!!

Anywho, there’s no rest for the wicked, and I’ve got lots to do before I sleep “and lots to do before I sleep” – isn’t that a line from a poem?
